Statistical analyst
Statistical Analysts are application managers whose role is to design, collect, analyze and disseminate statistical production. Launched in 2020 following a pedagogical overhaul of the RESA schools’ training courses, the training program extends over three academic years and includes both theoretical and practical courses, tutorials, and two (02) practical field placements (an immersion placement and an end-of-training academic placement).

Training objectives
The Statistical Analyst (SA) program is designed to train managers in the collection, analysis and interpretation of socio-economic data. SAs are able to participate in the definition of economic and social knowledge requirements, and to analyze complex structures. During the three (03) years of training, an AS receives a wide range of teaching enabling him/her to cover many areas of expertise, such as :
- Project management
- The economy,
- Social sciences,
- IT,
- Econometrics,
- Statistics,
- Management,
- Data science, etc.
In particular, he receives new statistical skills to cover an advanced program on advanced mathematical skills, an analytical approach to future economic and social issues on the African continent.
Admission to the AS program
Direct competition
Open to holders of the Baccalauréat série C, D, E or S or students enrolled in Terminale C, D, E or S. Final admission for students enrolled in Terminale is subject to obtaining the Baccalauréat.
Professional candidates
Open to professional candidates holding the diploma of Technical Agent or Technical Assistant for Statistics. They must have the seniority required by the civil service statutes of their country.
COMPETITION PERIOD
ENSEA entrance examinations are held every year in January, with the written tests taking place in April in Côte d’Ivoire. A pre-selection test is organized for candidates in February, and only those who have passed this first stage are authorized to sit the competitive entrance exams (see table below):

Statistical Analysts are called upon to serve in national statistical or planning services, in parapublic or private organizations (companies, state-owned enterprises), in international institutions. On completion of their training, they may work as :
