Statistical Engineer Economist
Ingénieurs Statisticiens Economistes (ISE) are statisticians capable of contributing to the fundamental orientations of the development actions of parapublic, public and private structures. This Master’s degree course lasts three (03) years, divided into (06) semesters, and is given in the schools of the Réseau des Ecoles de Statistique Africaines (RESA). The statistician holding the Diplôme d’Ingénieur Statisticien Economiste uses quantitative analysis and modeling to solve complex problems. They are called upon to measure, model and analyze economic, social or environmental phenomena in an uncertain and risky environment, in order to evaluate, forecast and make decisions.

Contest Period
The ENSEA entrance exams are held every year in January, with the written tests taking place in April.
The ISE Competition is a pan-African competition organized in 26 examination centers common to RESA schools, with the support of the Centre d’Appui aux Ecoles de Statistique Africaines (CAPESA), based at ENSAI in Rennes, France.
Mathematics option
It is open to students enrolled in scientific preparatory classes (technological or biological) and to students with a bachelor's degree in mathematics.

Economics option
This option is open to students enrolled in business preparatory classes, holders of a bachelor's degree in economics, and holders of the Statistical Analyst diploma issued by one of the RESA schools.

Training is organized into 6 semesters over a three-year period.
To obtain the ISE diploma, students must present a certificate of intermediate level B2 in English.
