Why come to ENSEA?

A leader in statistics training in Africa, ENSEA Abidjan is the only public institution in Côte d’Ivoire to offer training in statistics and applied economics. Since its creation in 1961, ENSEA has trained more than 4,500 graduates, with a 98% job placement rate six months after graduation. Due to the quality of the training provided, following an evaluation process, the World Bank has awarded it the label of African Center of Excellence since 2015. This label has been renewed as part of the ACE impact project for the period 2020 – 2025.

The annual registration fee is 30,000 CFA francs.

NB:

  • Winners of national competitive entrance exams receive a state grant to subsidize their education.
  • Foreign laureates receive either a scholarship from their home country, or a grant from an international financial institution.

ENSEA’s diplomas are internationally recognized and validated by international institutions. This is evidenced by the accreditation of the ISE program by the EUR-ACE label, the World Bank’s Center of Excellence label and the UEMOA’s Regional Center of Excellence label.

Admission

Who can train at ENSEA?
  • Students in final year C, D, or E or holders of the Baccalauréat C, D, or E;
  • Students with a 2 or 3-year degree in mathematics or economics, and those enrolled in preparatory classes at INP-HB;
  • Professionals wishing to enhance their statistical and economic skills through continuing education;
  • Civil servants in public and private institutions who need reliable data for decision-making (surveys, studies and data analysis);
  • Anyone wishing to learn or strengthen their language skills (English / French) through intensive training in their own language laboratory.

Admission to ENSEA is exclusively by competitive examination. During the competition period, online registration is compulsory at http://concours.ensea.ed.ci/

In general, registration for the competitive entrance exams begins in January, and the exams take place in March and April of each year. The results are available from June onwards on the school’s social networks and website. Successful candidates are also notified by e-mail, so that administrative formalities can begin.

Statistical and Economic Engineers (ISE):

  • Students from business and technology preparatory classes.
  • Students with a degree in economics or mathematics.

The Statistical Analyst (SA) stream:

  • Students holding the Baccalauréat C, D or E.
  • Students in their final year of high school are eligible to take part in the competition, provided they have a BAC C, D or E.
