Statistical engineer and economist
Admission procedure
Admission to this highly selective, elitist program is by competitive entrance examination only. It is open to students :
Holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Mathematics
Graduates of scientific preparatory classes at the Institut National Polytechnique (INP-HB) or holders of the Diplôme d’Ingénieur Statisticien (ITS).

Master in Road Infrastructure Management
Admission procedure
Hold a Public Works Engineering Diploma or a Master’s degree (Bac+5 level) in a related field.
Hold a degree in public works engineering (Bac +4) and have at least three (03) years’ relevant professional experience.
Selection criteria
M3ES auditors are selected on the basis of a dossier analysis and interviews.

Master in Agricultural Statistics
Admission procedure
Recruitment is being organized by the INS and agricultural statistics departments of the following countries: Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Niger, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Selection criteria

Continuing education
Admission procedure
Admission requirements for each course are specified below:
- The “Initiation” and “Socle Commun” courses are open to all financial sector employees wishing to learn about Basel 2 and 3 regulations.
- For the “Specialization” pathway, candidates must come from financial institutions and work in risk management or a related field.
Attendance at each training module is evidenced by a certificate of participation. To obtain certification, participants must take part in all 3 training modules and pass the end-of-training assessments.
Continuing training is part of the capacity-building process for all professionals. It is specifically aimed at :
- people (employees, jobseekers, self-employed professionals, etc.) wishing to acquire or develop a qualification, or enhance their professional experience
- employers (private or public) wishing to develop their employees’ skills

Doctoral training
Admission procedure
To be admitted to the first year of the program, candidates must have a quantitative profile and hold a Master 2 degree in research or a diploma in economic statistics engineering.
The call for applications is published on the ENSEA website in January of each year.
Application form
- A letter of motivation addressed to the Director of ENSEA ;
- A recent detailed curriculum vitae (CV);
- A legalized copy of the BAC diploma;
- A legalized copy of diplomas obtained after the BAC and transcripts, and any other supporting documents;
- A thesis research proposal of no more than five (5) pages, clearly stating the title, problem, objectives, analytical approach, literature review, hypotheses and expected results, together with the corresponding bibliographical references. Particular attention will be paid to the quality of the proposed research topic and its relevance to the research interests of CEA researchers or to economic development issues;
- Two (2) letters of recommendation justifying the student’s research ability (preferably two letters from professors authorized to supervise a thesis);
- A letter from the supervisor stating that the student has a Thesis Director.

Selection criteria
Selection will take place in two phases. The first phase involves an analysis of the applications, on the basis of which a shortlist of candidates will be drawn up. The second phase will consist of an oral interview with the candidates shortlisted at the end of the first phase. A telephone interview (via Skype or any other means of communication) will be organized for candidates residing outside Côte d’Ivoire.
NB: only eligible candidates receive an e-mail inviting them to the auditions.
Candidates admitted after the second selection phase will participate in doctoral training, with possible financial support from ENSEA management. Doctoral students are also encouraged to seek additional funding for their research.
