A cooperation agreement to set up a joint Bi-diploma course in actuarial science was signed on November 10, 2017 between the Claude Bernard University of Lyon 1 (UCBL) and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ENSEA) in Abidjan.
The parties have agreed to work together to set up a joint two-year degree course at ENSEA, leading to a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Technology and Health from UCBL, and a diploma in Economic Statistical Engineering (ISE) from ENSEA in Abidjan.
UCBL is committed to the following actions:
- UCBL organization and participation in student selection.
- Validation of the list of teachers involved in the Actuarial Master’s program at ENSEA.
- Pedagogical support for students in the program (follow-up missions, participation in internship defense, jury, etc.).
UCBL has committedENSEA to providing:e to carrying out the following actions:
- Teachers for the part of the course not covered by the UCBL teaching team.
- The list of teaching staff is proposed by ENSEA and approved by the UCBL Master’s coordinator.
- Free use of premises for training purposes, secretarial services, teaching aids, reprography, computer rooms.
