African Center of Excellence for Statistical Training

The Technical Committee is responsible for :

• ensure the proper execution of CEA activities;
• monitor activities included in the Action Plan and validated by the steering committee;
• ensure the financial management, procurement and monitoring-evaluation of the CEA in accordance with the procedures manuals validated by the World Bank and the AAU;
• analyze and assess the recommendations and proposals put forward by the World Bank and/or the AAU as part of the implementation of CEA activities;

The Technical Committee is composed of:

• Coordinator: Mr KOUADIO Kouassi Hugues;
• Deputy Coordinator: Mr KOUAKOU N’goran Jean Arnaud;
• Research Manager: Mr ESSO Loesse Jacques;
• Monitoring and evaluation manager: Ms MOSSO Rosine Addy;
• Financial Manager: Mr AGNIMA Kouassi Florent;
• An expert from AFRISTAT: Mr. Coulibaly Siriki Zanga;
• A Director of Studies at ISSEA: Mr Marcel OPUMBA;
• A Director of Studies at ENSAE: Mr CISSE Mamadou.

When academic and/or scientific issues are being discussed, the Technical Committee may call on the assistance of the teacher-researchers concerned. It also works closely with ENSEA’s administrative departments. It may co-opt resource persons into sub-committees. The Technical Committee will be responsible for setting up common procedures for the selection of scholarship holders, teacher-researchers and part-time lecturers, and for ensuring that they are applied. An external expert may be called in to audit the application of these procedures. The Technical Committee meets once a month. It may be convened by its Chairman. Technical Committee meetings may be held in person, by teleconference or by videoconference. Each member of the Technical Committee will work on a specific mission of the Project according to a mandate defined by the Technical Committee and approved by the Steering Committee. He/she will report regularly on his/her activities to the Technical Committee. Sub-committees may be set up to include external resource persons (e.g.: Accreditation and Quality Sub-Committee, Monitoring and Evaluation Sub-Committee and Communication Sub-Committee).
